A Baha'i is a person who believes in Baha'u'llah. Sharing Baha'u'llah's vision is known as "teaching" in Baha'i terminology; Baha'is believe that His (Baha'u'llah) message offers specific and important answers to the diverse and grave problems facing humanity.
Many Baha'is are people who converted from different religious backgrounds. These include Buddhist, Jews, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Hindus, Christians and others. Baha'is come from every race, many different nationalities, and from over 2000 tribes. They total over 6 million individuals worldwide.
According to the Encyclopedia Brittanica they are the second most dispersed religion in the world.
